The Global Distribution Systems (GDS) provide an important distribution channel, allowing ACE to be viewed directly from the travel agency, reducing the need for an agent to call our reservation office. All major travel suppliers have the facility and technology to access an Airline reservation system, which allows them to supply customers with flights, hotels and car rental at that moment. By accessing the car rental information they can chose to reserve a car or van rental through ACE Rent a Car direct. Sabre is an example of a GDS.
