Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
All authorized drivers of ACE vehicles are covered against liability to third parties for death, injury or damage to property.
Fire Protection Coverage (FPC)
All authorized drivers of ACE vehicles are covered against fire to the vehicle.
Personal Accident Insurance ( PAI )
PAI protects you and each passenger in the event of death, total and partial disability for the duration of the rental. The renter is insured for 15.000,00 Euro (€) for loss of life or total/partial permanent disablement . All passengers are covered for 500.000,00 Euro (€) medical expenses and 500.000,00 Euro (€) for loss of life or total/partial permanent disablement . PAI benefits include a total coverage of 515.000,00 Euro (€) per accident.
Theft Protection Coverage (TPC)
Theft Protection Coverage (TPC) relieves the renter from almost all financial responsibility for loss of or damage to the ACE vehicle by or following theft attempted theft or vandalism, but does not cover stolen personal contents. If you decide to decline TPC you will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the lost or damaged ACE vehicle. TPC has a standard deductible of 300 Euro (€) for all car categories. TPC does not include coverage for personal items.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
TThe driver can limit his/her responsibility for their share of any damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period. A residual non-waivable amount will be applied in the event of damage to the rented vehicle. The renter is responsible for the non-waivable excess of up to the amount of 460 Euro (€) for categories A and B, 500 Euro (€) for categories C, D and J, 550 Euro (€) for category K, 600 Euro (€) for category E, 655 Euro (€) for categories P, M, M1, O, L, F and G, 700 Euro (€) for categories I, Y, T and T1, 893 Euro (€) for category Z, 1,130 Euro (€) for categories V and H, and 1,150 Euro (€) for category X. Collision Damage Waiver will apply provided the renter is listed on the ACE/Customer contract. Regardless of whether the renter has confirmed acceptance of CDW, the renter is liable for any damage or for the replacement of tires, wheels, windows and underside of the car, as well as any damage made during ship/ferry transportation. If you choose to decline the provided insurance coverage, you will be totally responsible for damage to the ACE vehicle.
